Introduction
A 500kVA transformer is common in commercial buildings, small factories, EV charging sites and auxiliary power systems. A good RFQ prevents voltage mismatch, missing documents, wrong enclosure or late utility rejection.
This guide is written for overseas buyers, EPC contractors, consultants and local utility reviewers. It uses IEC 60076, IEC 60076-11 for dry-type units, IEC 60076-5 for short-circuit withstand and local utility requirements as the main technical language, with the final acceptance route defined by the project specification and local approval process.
