Export project basis

Local requirements must be confirmed before equipment selection

Market pages organize common buyer and application needs by destination. They do not claim automatic local approval. Each RFQ should identify the utility, authority, project specification and evidence route that apply at the actual installation site.

Electrical system

Confirm nominal and highest system voltage, 50 or 60 Hz operation, earthing arrangement, short-circuit level, insulation coordination and local voltage tolerances.

Climate and installation

State ambient temperature, altitude, humidity, pollution, coastal or desert exposure, indoor or outdoor duty, enclosure, ventilation and transport constraints.

Approval and documentation

List the destination standard, utility or authority review, drawing language, certificates or reports requested, FAT scope, marking, packing and import documentation.

Destination data to include in the first RFQ

  • Country, project city, utility and end-user sector
  • Applicable standard, edition and authority requirements
  • Voltage, frequency, fault duty and environmental conditions
  • Required tests, documents, packing and delivery point
